Brett Favre is Still Working his Magic in Wisconsin

Maybe not on the football field, but Brett is certainly working his magic in the world of childhood cancer. Project Angel Hugs has again been blessed with a grant through the Brett Favre’s Fourward Foundation. In these troubled economic times, Project Angel Hugs is trying to make due with less donations. His help came at the best time, just as we were pondering how ministries could be scaled back due to budget concerns.

We received our first grant from the Brett Favre in 2007, coming just as we were downsizing our office space due to budget constraints.

The 2008 grant is enough to cover a year’s worth of rent payments along with some additional overhead costs. With currently over 200 families enrolled locally and across the country, Project Angel Hugs is extremely grateful for this blessing from the Favre Foundation to continue reaching out to these special children. It costs Project Angel Hugs over $200 per year to minister for each family in materials and postage costs.
